Dance the Vote: Collaboration with The Accidentals, dancers from around the United States representing the Traverse City Dance Project, and Headcount.org.

In the fall of 2020 Twinkle helped to organize a joint get out the vote project helping to raise funds for Headcount.org while also registering voters across the country. Dancers from companies representing New York City Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Konverjdans, and more came together to create a music video for the song, “How Many Hands” in collaboration with The Accidentals.

The premiere of “How Many Hands” appeared as a part of an online festival for the Traverse City Dance Project, alongside artist interviews featuring members of The Accidentals, New York City Ballet dancer Ashley Bouder, former Cincinnati Councilman Reggie Harris, representatives from Headcount.org and more. We had fun zooming in from across the country uniting in dance and music to empower people to vote, while also fundraising for Headcount.org and registering voters!
